🚨 Attention, hikers! 🚨 Part of the Wonderland Trail in Mount Rainier National Park is temporarily closed due to unusual bear activity, specifically between Narada Falls Trail and Stevens Canyon Road. If you encounter a black bear, stay calm and keep your distance. Remember, DO NOT run! Stand your ground, shout, and make yourself appear larger. Throw non-food items only if absolutely necessary. Feeding bears is strictly prohibited. Use bear spray as a last resort if the bear is within 20 yards. In case of an attack, fight back instead of playing dead.
