An urgent search is ongoing in Surfside Beach for a missing 10-year-old boy from Fort Bend County. Police Chief Phillip Hester reported a call about a distressed swimmer at 5:30 p.m. Search efforts have included drones and the U.S. Coast Guard, but the boy has not been located. Hester has contacted Tim Miller from Texas EquuSearch for additional assistance. The child, from Richmond and part of a youth football team, is missing amid rough currents that are complicating search efforts.
