A flight instructor, Leandro Andrés Bertazzo, 42, jumped from a moving Cessna 150 plane midair, leaving his 22-year-old student, Rosario, to land the aircraft alone. Before jumping, he informed her, "You know what you have to do, carry on," according to reports. Eduardo Álvarez, director of the Flying Parrot Córdoba flying school where Bertazzo worked, stated there were no indications of his intention to jump, noting he had flown with another student earlier that day. Opening a plane door mid-air is extremely challenging, akin to opening a car door at 124 miles per hour. Despite being in "complete shock," Rosario successfully landed the undamaged plane. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding Bertazzo's death is underway. #FlightTraining #AviationSafety #Cessna #Aviation #EmergencyLanding #Suicide #MentalHealth #pilotlife #aircrafts #aviationnews #Monk https://youtu.be/YG8fXCx3iHI?si=nAyqv2RBrWNxnegq
