Airman 1st Class Cedric Eneluna, 23, was killed in a heavy equipment accident at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, on July 19, 2026. Eneluna, from Fayetteville, North Carolina, joined the military on March 5, 2024, and was assigned to the 30th Civil Engineer Squadron's Pavements and Equipment Flight. He died while operating heavy machinery that rolled down an embankment; no other personnel were injured. The Santa Barbara County Coroner's Office is investigating the cause of death, and the base is supporting a Safety Investigation Board review. Col. James T.
