Tragic news from Capitola Mall: A 73-year-old woman, Rachell Summers, was fatally stabbed in a random attack on Monday afternoon. Police responded to the scene at around 12:45 p.m. but unfortunately, she died at the scene despite attempts to save her. A 19-year-old suspect has been apprehended about half a mile away and is being held without bail on murder charges. Authorities believe there was no prior connection between the victim and suspect.
