Rice University Police are searching for Rabe'e Ata Juma'a Alqaq, a 24-year-old Jordanian athlete who was last seen leaving his dorm at Martel College around midnight to "explore" during the Genuine Cup soccer tournament. Alqaq, who has cerebral palsy but maintains full mobility, did not return and missed breakfast, raising concerns among his teammates and coaches. He speaks only Arabic and was last seen wearing a light blue T-shirt and black pants. Police are tracking his phone, which has not been pinging due to being connected to a Jordanian carrier, and assistance is being provided by multiple agencies, including Texas Search and Rescue.
