To have or not to have an echo chamber is irrelevant when compared to the fundamental need for individual freewill towards self-empowerment, choices to choose to be or not to be in echo chambers or to be the rebel. What matters is your ability to do what you want to do. If you want to be in an echo chamber, you should be free to do so. The problem is when you cannot or have to be in echo chambers. We need the freedom within the realms of private property rights to do what we want to the extent it doesn't hurt other people.
