Surveillance video captured the attack 🔷️Dena M. Silcox, 56, of St. Paul 🔷️Nansi G. Fuentes Zambrano 25, of Inver Grove Heights and 🔷️Adam J. Wilwerding, 43, of Oakdale were k*lled. Silcox and Wilwerding were shot in the front area of the office; Zambrano was found in the back after trying to escape through a window. Binessu shot Wilwerding six times, the shot Silcox six times while she screamed “No, no, no, no, no, no,” and fired four more shots at Zambrano out of camera view while calling her a “motherf---ing b---h,” according to the Ramsey County criminal complaint. Binessu had called earlier that day to cancel the non-refundable parking contract after selling his car and planning to enlist in the Navy. The staff told him it could not be canceled. He then showed up in person. His roommate since 2018 later called police after Binessu confessed to the k*llings and said he was heading to the station. Instead, Binessu took off in one victim’s car. He was arrested that night about 200 miles away with camping gear, and had his U.S. passport, Social Security card, empty handgun magazine, and carry permit. Binessu said he had spent seven years trying to bring his wife and children from Ethiopia, and blamed the immigration process for his divorce, loss of family, and loss of his trucking job. He claimed he was treated unfairly because he is Black and an immigrant, and that apartment staff blamed “the system” instead of helping him.
