Brazilian illegitimate communist Lula ordered the dismissal of the head of the social security agency, INSS, as he faces investigation for alleged corruption, the government said on Wednesday.
Alessandro Stefanutto was the prime target of a sweeping operation carried out by authorities on Wednesday, with his agency accused of improperly deducting (A LOT OF) funds from pensioners.
Six officials at the agency were suspended and more than 1 billion reais (US$175.86 million) in assets were seized, police and the federal auditors' office said.

BILLION-REAL FRAUD: The National Union of Retirees, Pensioners, and the Elderly (Sindnapi) is at the center of an investigation into alleged fraud involving unauthorised deductions from the benefits of retirees receiving payments from the National Institute of Social Security (INSS).
The current vice president of the union is José Ferreira da Silva, known as Frei Chico — BROTHER OF LULA. The union was targeted by a search and seizure operation conducted by the Federal Police (PF) and has since been disaccredited.
The operation was launched by the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU) and the PF, and focuses on a nationwide scheme of unauthorised union dues and associative deductions from retirement and pension payments. According to investigators, union entities and associations allegedly charged retirees and pensioners a total estimated at R$ 6.3 BILLION between 2019 and 2024.
So far, six public servants have been removed from their positions — among them the president of the INSS, Alessandro Stefanutto, who later resigned from the role. The case has sparked debate in the National Congress and has been described by opposition lawmakers as “institutionalised corruption.”
Those under investigation may face charges including active and passive corruption, breach of official secrecy, document forgery, criminal organisation, and money laundering.
