A program that was supposed to help disabled Australians has exploded into a $50 BILLION per year money printing machine for dodgy operators. And the deeper you dig, the worse it gets. Entire suburbs suddenly packed with hundreds of “NDIS providers.” Ghost offices. Fake services. Ridiculous invoices. Cleaning jobs billed for hundreds of dollars. Businesses shut down for fraud reopening weeks later under a different name, same address, same accountant. This isn’t a few bad actors. This is an entire industry built around rorting the system. When a suburb like Lakemba has 1,300 NDIS providers ...roughly 1 in every 13 residents... Billions of taxpayer dollars flowing out the door while politicians pretend everything is fine. And the Australians the scheme was meant to help are often the ones getting left behind. I used to work for DHHS. When #NDISScam was introduced, I saw where this was heading and I quit the job. Because once you create a massive pool of government money with weak oversight and endless loopholes, you are inviting exploitation. And that’s exactly what has happened. The only reason the public is finally starting to see how bad this mess really is…because people like Pete Zogoulas @PeteZogoulas are exposing it. Pete is literally going door to door asking questions, filming these “providers”, and showing Australians what’s really happening on the ground. And what he’s finding is shocking. Fake offices. Empty businesses. Operators getting aggressive when questioned. Companies existing purely to siphon money out of the system. Pete is doing God’s work exposing this mess. Because without people shining a light on it, this $50B system will continue to grow into an even bigger black hole of taxpayer money. Helping disabled Australians should be sacred. Instead NDIS has become a magnet for fraud, loopholes and opportunists. Australia deserves answers. Taxpayers deserve accountability. And the people the scheme was meant to help deserve a system that actually works.
