State Police — #FreedomConvoy2022 is not welcome in #Illinois. Oh really? Here's a response from an American Trucker friend: "Dear peoples of Illinois, I write to inform you,as an American trucker, I will no longer be accepting loads to your state. I understand your state police made it pretty clear our freedom convoy is not welcome in your state. So in good conscience I will no longer be making deliveries to you state. The driver shortage, in America, allows me to pick my loads now a days. Until we as truckers receive a public apology from your state police. I for one will no longer be going to Illinois. I understand the convoy is a inconvenience for people in general and more so for state police. That seems minor in comparison to the inconvenience we have endured for the last two plus years. It also seems minor in comparison to the inconveniences that will develop should deliveries to your state slow down or stop. I view the state polices decision as authoritarian and political and it is a shame they choose this route instead of working with the convoy. After all, with all the calls to de fund the police all the polices’ supporters are in the convoy.
