A Few Words About "Chatbot", And AI In General Another juvenile and dangerous infestation. THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN WITH ME for at least the last few years are aware that the obnoxious and harmful notion of "social distancing" by which we were all afflicted during the most destructive years of the C19 hobgoblin was originally conceived as a middle-schooler's science fair project (as discussed and documented in the detailed presentation on the "pandemic" found at https://losthorizons.com/THS.htm#17). Now we have another enthusiasm of the same juvenile character but with much more dangerous potential taking root: "Chatbots" (and other AI "content creators"). The problem is that these programs will be deployed to produce content on all manner of subjects, much of which will be relied upon by citizens/consumers/moral actors, etc. (often-- or even mostly-- without knowing it is the mere and unadulterated output of software).
