Isaiah 43:4 "Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life" Above taken from DAY 47 of book Whom Shall I Fear by Richard Wurmbrand. He wrote below the above Bible verse the following: Two years after he husband died, Tavesa trusted in Christ. She had received healing through the prayers of a Christian in her Nepali village. Leaving Hinduism for Christ did nothing to improve her earthly status, for a widow, she was already considered cursed. In Nepal's predominantly Hindu culture, a widow has no status and is often blamned for her husband's death. When Tavesa declared her faight in Jesus Christ, her sons and daughters viewed her as worthless. "Even then I had decided to follow Christ and not turn back, no matter what my children say," she said. "Jesus gave me a new life, so this life is for him" Precious: That is how God sees Tavesa--and how he sees you. How does hearing Tavesa's story and knowing the truth of how God sees you fuel your confidence to face what you fear in your life? #Isiah, #RichardWurmbrand, #Bible, #Christ, #Nepali, #Hinduism, #Tavesa, #God, #WhomShallIFear
