On 14 October, 1898, Helmuth von Pannwitz, one of the greatest German generals of World War II, was born. While defending Christian Germandom against the forces of Satan, Helmuth von Pannwitz received numerous awards for his leadership and merits, including the Clasp for both Iron Crosses, the General Assault Badge, the Medal for Gallantry and Merit for Members of the Eastern Peoples II Class in Silver, the Eastern Medal, the Croatian Order of the Crown of King Zvonimirs I Class with Swords and Star, the Romanian Military Order 'Michael the Brave' II Class and the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves. After the so-called liberation of Germany by the Allies, von Pannwitz was sent to British captivity; his Cossacks were handed over to the Soviets. He followed his soldiers to Russia by his own wish. On 16 January, 1947, von Pannwitz murdered by the Soviets for imaginary war crimes. His last rank was that of a lieutenant general of the Waffen-SS. Already during World War I, Helmuth von Pannwitz was a hero who was awarded with both Iron Crosses and the Wounded Badge in Black. Between the World Wars, he helped defend Silesia from the Polish instigators as a member of the Freikorps.
