Many Las Vegas local businesses now accepting Bitcoin as payment thanks to Square πŸͺ™πŸ’²πŸ›’ https://rumble.com/v74qxwi-many-las-vegas-local-businesses-now-accepting-bitcoin-as-payment-thanks-to-.html Las Vegas news channel reports more local businesses in the city are now accepting Bitcoin as payment. This is not about ideology, it's about economics. Credit Card issuers demand high fees from retailers, and do not pay them the sale money for up to a month after a purchase. Square offers instant Bitcoin payments with very low fees (and no fees through 2026). Retailers can convert that Bitcoin to any other Fiat currency, or they can choose to send that Bitcoin to their own wallet for safe keeping. Square terminals replace traditional Credit Card machines at registers. They allow the use of Credit and Debt cards, but also let customers to pay in Bitcoin. Jack Dorsey, CEO of Square, wants to normalize Bitcoin as money (the original intention of Satoshi Nakamoto) and believes that making it an option for payment processors is a crucial step in that technology adoption. What needs to be done now is the removal of "Capitol Gains Taxes" from Bitcoin. You should not have to pay CGT on currency conversion, and Bitcoin at its core is a decentralized currency. It should be exempt from CGT. You especially shouldn't be hit with CGT if you use your Bitcoin to purchase items or services in America, because you are being taxed twice, both Sales Tax and Capitol Gains Taxes. #LasVegas #Bitcoin #Square #JackDorsey #SmallBusiness
