Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Cori Bush, D-Mo., have repeatedly called for a ceasefire while dodging questions over whether Israel has a right to defend itself after the deadly attacks. As the interview closed, she also suggested that her fellow lawmakers’ reluctance to call for a ceasefire are motivated by race." On that note... I’ll buy her a ticket to go over there and sort this all out... Any statement of guilt followed immediately by "however, but, although, yet" signals that the next words will attempt to justify the behavior. I’d ask this woman… WHY ISRAEL IS ATTACKING GAZA RIGHT NOW? If she doesn’t know… all she has to is read a newspaper and find out what happened in Israel on October 7th… She's mentally challenged. IF Israel were bombing Gaza 'indiscriminately' as she claims, nothing would be left. It would only take a few days to carpet bomb Gaza into rubble. Israel's restraint is evident in that most of Gaza is still standing and that the IDF is trying to move civilians out of the way. The war crimes are 100% on Hamas. Using civilians as human shields is a war crime. There was a picture posted today of a rocket launcher set up next to a swing set. Until Hamas is held responsible, we will see increased atrocities. She's the quintessential essence of everything that is wrong with Colleges that promotes anti-Capitalist values and fosters Socialist Doctrine in the form of Activism with no study as to the past Governments that have followed it and failed. Anyhow... It's not for the USA to call for a ceasefire. The attack was committed on Israel, not the USA. Terms of engagement and de-escalation will be determined by Israel. Hamas started this war, now they will face the consequences of their actions. Unfortunately, when a government starts a war, the population that puts them in power will feel the brunt of the conflict. That's the nature of war. Has she said anything about the war crimes Hamas committed against children, festival young adults, seniors, babies in isreal? Has she said anything about terrorists using their own citizens as human shields? Israel has given them fair warning and escape routes from Gaza. USA is sending food and aid at the evacuation point. HAMAS NH needs to stop using Palestinians as human shields. AOC you are so misguided. But... Typical leftie, if one of those hostages were related to her, she would be screaming to kill Hamas! It has to affect them before they finally realize that what they are protesting about is the opposite of how they feel when it is them that are hurting. In any case... Amazing how the terrorists & their supporters always demand peace after the initial terrorist atrocities are committed! This “person” does not deserve to have her spot in the United States congress & should at the very least be censured. We’ll see how much control the progressive/Marxist/extremist side actually have over the Democrats won’t we? That said... Someone show her the difference in the way Israel and Hamas fight. Hamas just fires off rockets and don’t get a hoot as to where they land. Israel uses their IDF to go into areas and take out the Hamas soldiers. Israel uses high tech bombing, Hamas hides behind the innocent Palentines. If democracies dumbs down this conflict to two camps of silent Anti semitism or silent Islamphobia.
