๐ฆ๐บ South Australia's Labor government has given a Muslim group $2m in taxpayer funds to expand an Adelaide mosque's community centre. The Minister for Multicultural Affairs said the project would "strengthen social cohesion". Meanwhile.......recent estimates in Adelaide suggest:- Rough sleeping estimates have risen. One 2025 report estimated around 950 people sleeping rough across South Australia. Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) assist tens of thousands annually. For example, in 2020โ21, about 18,600 people were supported by these services. Many organisations note that the true number is likely higher than census figures, as the census is a point-in-time snapshot and undercounts hidden homelessness (e.g., couch surfing). But yes, lets continue to support foreign interlopers who need their mosque ramped up...and who have never done a days work in Au, who never pay tax, who collect social security and who are obviously more special than any homeless Australian generational citizen.
