@[email protected] The problem with the #fediverse is far too many instances are run by petty minded silly admins inflating their own self importance far too much. You are right, if twitter joined the fediverse tomorrow 70% of the tiny small fediverse instances (couple of thousand users, if that?) would have a colossal hissy fit. Example - Oh but twitter is so mainstream, plus they don't code, and we do, blah, blah, let's block them all. Their silly mastodon heads stuck up their own arseholes. That's how the fediverse really functions and that's why it will always lack real growth as a social platform.
