Those are contracts, and contracts don't get threatened. The same arithmetic runs on the evening news — once a network carries the ad buy, the safety story about that company stops appearing. Add to it an institutional position that vaccine hesitancy is itself a public health threat to be eliminated, and journals have a stated reason never to publish the paper that might cause it.
