On This Date In 1966: Allen Dulles is quoted in "Look" magazine, challenging  assassination critics: “If they’ve found another assassin, let them name names and produce the evidence.” In other words, you have to do their job by investigating the murder. The Warren Commission never did. When did the Warren Commission ever provide evidence that proved that Lee Harvey Oswald ever committed the crime? It isn't in the 26 volumes that were never indexed and hidden in many cases. Anyone can throw out names, and Dulles' name is thrown out often, but proving it when absolutely no investigation was ever conducted is a lot harder. The only two reasons for the government never really investigating this crime are 1) they already knew what happened (and not the silly Oswald tale), and 2) it was a flat-out coverup. It is very likely that both were true. They knew what happened and covered it up. Dulles should never have been on the Commission as he was fired by JFK and had a long relationship with the CIA.
