The slow slide of American Whites to minority status: In 1960, White people made up 89% of the US population. By 2020, Whites were just under 58%. By 2045 at the latest (& probably earlier), White Americans will be an absolute minority in their own country. White students are already a minority in elementary schools nationwide.
