You know... I had a thought tonight. Call it a brain-wave, if you must. The NYT published a story claiming that the DOJ under Trump was spying on House Dems looking for leaks, but that the investigation found nothing when looking into the call records of Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell... But what if that's a lie on the Times' part? An effort to get in front of a big reveal? Heck, we basically already know it it. Grenell has accused Schiff of leaking multiple times, and Trump has gotten specific in the past (see: https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/484244-trump-accuses-schiff-of-leaking-information-that-russia-was-helping) Trump even said βThey ought to investigate Adam Schiff for leaking that intelligence,β - Which is funny because he must have KNOWN they ALREADY had an open investigation into Schiff at the time. @gatewaypundit has also documented Schiff's history of criminal leaks from the House IC: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/01/breaking-exclusive-we-caught-him-rep-adam-schiff-caught-leaking-classified-information-from-house-committee-in-effort-to-damage-president-trump/ And Swalwell... remember, Swalwell was running around with FangFang the whole time, leaking to the CCP in exchange for sum BangBang. In response, Pelosi has gone on the defensive, and basically demanded an investigation into the "politicization of the DOJ." (laughable) https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/06/pelosi-calls-investigation-nyt-reports-trumps-doj-investigated-house-dems-subpoenaed-apple-data/ But this... this is a defensive posture, despite it looking, on the surface, like an offensive one. Pelosi is scrambling; she wasn't expecting this... And what if the reason the DOJ "didn't find any evidence" isn't because they didn't actually find any evidence. Run with the "theory" that Schiff and Swalwell are treasonous intelligence leakers. This means that Pelosi, Schiff, and Swalwell all KNOW there is evidence implicating them - and they KNOW that Trump's DOJ has it... but has seemingly sat on it. ...But what if they didn't just sit on it? What if they handed it over to Durham, and he rolled it into his Special Counsel? What if they did that to outmaneuver a hostile takeover of the DOJ, and remove the evidence out of the hands of say... Merrick Garland? What if Durham has been sitting on this the whole time, and is now perfectly comfortable letting his suspects know he was hunting them? Is this even possible? I'm not trying to get people's hopes up, or get people back on the "two more weeks" train, but Durham was working at the DOJ prior to this. He *HAD* to have been aware of these surveillance requests - if he wasn't the one in CHARGE of them. What if he took that evidence out of the DOJ, and rolled it into his Special Counsel? What if he's set to indict the likes of Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell before a grand jury? What if he already has? https://www.theepochtimes.com/infographic-timeline-of-the-durham-investigation_3853456.html
