Russian sources say Workshop 101, a cluster of several buildings and production sites at Kombinat Kamensky, was hit hard in the August 16 strike and suffered significant destruction. Official Russian records place the workshop inside the plant’s Polymer Production division. Section 2 prepares mixtures, while a 2021 industrial accident links Workshop 101 to forming/moulding operations. Kamensky’s own statutes say the state enterprise produces composite solid rocket-propellant charges for weapons and military equipment. Its patents cover technology for forming solid-propellant charges inside rocket-motor casings, indicating Workshop 101 sits close to the core process of preparing and shaping energetic material for rocket motors. Specialized mixing, filling and forming equipment is not generic chemical machinery; damage to this production cluster could therefore remove a critical intermediate step and create a bottleneck for downstream Russian missile and MLRS production. https://x.com/NOELreports/status/2088997722107912597 Ukraine’s General Staff confirmed a strike on the Kamensky Combine in Rostov region, where a fire was recorded. The plant produces solid rocket fuel for Uragan, Smerch and Tornado-S ammunition. It also confirmed ZapSibNeftekhim in Tobolsk stopped operating after the August 10 strike on its central gas fractionation unit, and that five processing units at the Orsk refinery were hit on August 11. #Ukraine https://x.com/NOELreports/status/2088929392692973797 @Alder @AnonymousFred514
