I bought $20k worth of SpaceX yesterday during the opening IPO. The claims are that it could become a 1000x gain in 10 years. $20k can become $2M in 10 years. I can afford to absorb the loss so I took a chance. I had a friend in the 1990's whose wife cheated on him and left him. He had $2k left and bought a stock someone recommended to him. He made $2M in 2 years from that investment. Doesn't happen often but it does happen...
