In my opinion bring in Singapore justice and you'll get these little thugs to behave! Singapore consistently ranks among the world's safest nations, boasting one of the lowest crime rates globally with violent crime being extremely rare.  We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion! President John Adams 1798. We do actually have a government capable of dealing with Godless people! And it will come under high tech surveillance, and a powerful hard-core domestic police force. When I was in the US Navy, we were going to pull in to Singapore for some liberty. That means get off the ship and enjoy yourselves. But we were cautioned you better behave yourselves because Singapore doesn’t play around. BREAKING: Military Police involved in shooting at Fort Hood! Is this another teen takeover gone really bad? Check out the video to see and hear the chaos. According to local news outlets like KWTX: large brawl broke out at the recreation area, which is located on Fort Hood. http://x.com/petersantilli/… Singapore is known for having one of the world's toughest and most zero-tolerance crime prevention systems, characterized by severe punitive measures and extensive surveillance.   The country consistently ranks as one of the safest nations globally, with extremely low rates of violent crime and petty theft, largely attributed to strict enforcement and harsh penalties.  Punishments are severe and widely publicized to act as a strong deterrent: Corporal Punishment: Caning is frequently used for offenses ranging from vandalism and drug trafficking to sexual assault and immigration violations.  Capital Punishment: The death penalty is mandatory for serious drug trafficking offenses (e.g., possessing 15g of heroin or 30g of cocaine) and intentional murder. Strict Fines: Minor offenses like spitting in public or failure to flush toilets result in significant fines, while corruption is punished with long prison terms and heavy financial penalties.  Surveillance: A pervasive network of CCTV cameras, facial recognition technology, and registered mobile phones makes it extremely difficult for criminals to evade detection.  While the system is effective in maintaining public safety and low corruption, it has drawn international criticism from human rights organizations for its impact on civil liberties and the use of corporal and capital punishment.  Public support for these harsh measures remains high, with surveys indicating strong approval for capital punishment and strict law enforcement. Singapore consistently ranks among the world's safest nations, boasting one of the lowest crime rates globally with violent crime being extremely rare.   In 2022, it ranked first as the safest country or area in the Global Law and Order Index and was the third safest city in 2021 according to the Economist Intelligence Unit.  The country's safety is attributed to a strict legal system, rigorous rule of law, and effective law enforcement.   While petty crimes like pickpocketing are uncommon, recent data indicates that scams and cybercrimes have become the primary concern, with reported cases rising significantly from 2016 to 2023.   Despite this rise in digital fraud, physical crime rates remain low, with total physical crime cases averaging around 19,750 annually between 2020 and 2023.
