“I, Sister Faustina Kowalska, by the divine order, have traversed the depths of hell to convey the existence of souls and testify to its reality.” (Diary 741) Guided by an angel, I was led to the abyssal chasms of hell, a place of immense torment and unfathomable vastness. The various forms of torture I witnessed include: ➤ The first form of torment is the profound loss of God. ➤ The second is the perpetual torment of conscience. ➤ The third is the certainty of an unchangeable fate. ➤ The fourth is the searing fire that penetrates the soul without causing physical destruction—a dreadful, purely spiritual suffering ignited by God’s wrath. ➤ The fifth is the relentless darkness and suffocating odor, yet within this darkness, the damned souls and devils perceive each other and all the evil. ➤ The sixth is the constant presence of Satan. ➤ The seventh is the abysmal despair, hatred of God, vile words, curses, and blasphemies. Sister Faustina noted that the majority of souls residing in hell are those who rejected the existence of hell. —————————— St. Faustina’s purpose in writing this was not to instill fear, but to serve as a warning and a call to embrace God’s mercy. She concluded with a fervent plea: “Consequently, I pray even more fervently for the conversion of sinners. I incessantly implore God’s mercy upon them. O my Jesus, I would rather endure agony until the end of the world, amidst the greatest sufferings, than offend You by the slightest sin.” With unwavering faith, I trust in You, Jesus! 🙏 Let this serve as a timely reminder to seek repentance, engage in prayer, and place our trust in Divine Mercy while there is still time. #catholicchurch #FaithInAction #saints #catholiclife #catholicfaith #catholic #NewsUpdate #CatholicNews
