Aaron Jenkin Photography Stabilised Milky Way timelapse videos showing the Earth's rotation in Cornwall, UK ✨🌍✨ Nearly all of the movement we see in the night sky is due to Earth's rotation. I used an equatorial mount to capture these timelapse videos. It rotates at the same rate that Earth does. Which means, when you align it to Earth's axis of rotation, it fixes the perspective to a point in space. Enabling you to see the land move, instead of the stars. #milkyway #nightphotography #earth #space #astrophotography
