Anyone else having fun with the months and months old #bugs here on @gab? The ones being ignored for side projects, placing this website on the back burner for the most part. Yeah... gained over 200 followers since last month and, yet, still says 2.2k followers. Is this a #shadowban of some kind? An overlooked bug, only affecting one #account? Or many? Is is laziness or a failure to update the database entries for things like #posts, replies to posts, #likes and #reposts? These are, again, MONTHS old bugs. Some of the bugs are just really nothing more than site breaking annoyances and frustration builders. Trying to report spam accounts and seeing a lot of "FAILED TO REPORT" messages. On mobile, we have a "submit success" toast AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DAMN PAGE, BLOCKING THE HOME AND NOTIFICATIONS AND GROUPS BUTTONS for 5 seconds before you can see it go away and actually use the link buttons. Yes, anyone reading this... I get it that they are a small crew. I get it they are "fully funded" by the people using the platform. But I also get that @GabTV and the new #gabTV Roku clone box are currently taking a lot of time and attention away from the myriad of problems this site has when interacting with it and the users who post. Any timelines on fixes? Any fixes at all coming down the pike? What gives? Again though I _AM_ an asshole of the highest order, I am NOT trying to be one here. These are months old problems. It would be nice to see at least SOME of them fixed. Problems: - #automagic scrolling of pages just for replying and viewing #images - constant failing #reposts / #likes / #reporting #spammers - follower amount never increments. at all - lots of posts don't show up for up to an hour after I post them - image viewer is archaic at best. doesn't allow zooming on mobile with any control. you can't even scroll the image around when in large view mode because it just scrolls the page around in the background - #gabPolls do not work and people keep making new polls because the feature is still there and allows you to CREATE new polls, but NO ONE CAN #VOTE IN THOSE POLLS, so what is the sense in even having the feature available? The polls are all timer based and expire... will #gab be reinstating those polls and pushing them to the top of the feed as new for the people who keep wasting their time making them? That is just a few things outside of the fact that the text editing area no longer likes to scroll as you add content to it. Like it used to. Thanks again for fixing the load times. Thanks for providing this service. But please... take the #website OFF of the back burner. How many more posts of "I just signed up, but will be back if it ever works right" do you need to see before anyone takes notice? Oh, and the image is to show that annoying "[object Object] Followers" instead of an actual count.
