Local News is merely a tool for local, state and federal government now. by R.W. Gless, For THE NOR-CAL PAPER 10/11/24 Sadly, local news in most places across the USA have become merely tools for the Government and little if any investigative reporting is done anymore. Why? Well, for one, the kids going into journalism have mostly been indoctrinated into the leftist Socialist/Communist ideology. They use the socialist ideology to convince the useful idiots that socialism is good. Of course, those of us who have seen what socialism becomes after they get control, know it always turns into communism with a head dictator or elite top group. The peons get to do all the work and if they complain... off to the reeducation camps they go, many are never seen again. Most newspapers in print have stopped publishing on paper and gone to internet like mine THE NOR-CAL PAPER which was printed weekly from 1996 to 2005. The local daily did everything they could to stop me from publishing the real stories and made sure I could never get Adjudicated. (An Adjudicated Newspaper is Legally recognized and can publish Legal Ads) The problem with Adjudication is the newspaper becomes a trap and a tool of the government. If a newspaper prints stories that offend or incriminate the local government and it's officials, they are threatened with being unadjudicated or blacklisted from receiving any Legal Notices from the local government. That can mean making or breaking a newspaper in a small town or city. Ads alone from businesses and people are not always enough to pay for the printing costs. THE NOR-CAL PAPER printed (And Still Does) stories that the other newspapers would never ever print, because we print real and true stories that effect you. Recently, I posted a story about the local CVS Drugstore in Marysville Ca. and how a patron had left a bike chained up outside while they went in to get a prescription. They had to wait because it wasn't ready yet. When they came out it was stripped clean and only the parts chained to the rail were still there. I was just back in CVS yesterday 10/10/24 and the clerk ask me to take a picture of the newest present left by the front door.... People POOP... yes, some lowlife had taken a crap in the corner right next to the front door. The Clerk said the police and city do nothing to stop the vandals and poopers who cause health hazards and indecently expose themselves in public. The clerk asked me to take a picture and let the City of Marysville Ca. know she and CVS aren't happy about the lack of response. Sadly, calling Marysville City Hall is futile, most of the time you get the answering machine and from my experience, you never get a call back. So, I was asked to contact a Supervisor I know (my account and tax preparer) and told him of the stripped bike first, which was a week or so ago. He told me he had a call into the Police Chief Chris Sachs and would let him know about CVS situation... Well, I talked to Supervisor Seth Fuhrer yesterday and he said the Police Chief has not returned his phone call (Supervisor Fuhrer had to also leave a message) so he will attempt to see if he can't set up a meeting with him again. Mr. Fuhrer has his business in the City of Marysville also. That brings me to the tax Measure on the ballot Measure G... a 1 cent sales tax that they say keeps the current protections in the city.... ???? What protections? Basically, the city is saying if they don't get more money out of the taxpaying residents, they will get worse protection. How can no protection get worse? Hell, they don't even answer the phones or get back to a Yuba County Supervisor. I was always taught that you reward a job well done and give a raise to those who excel, and I was also taught that giving a raise to those who do a poor job will only make them demand more and still do nothing, as long as they can get the fools to believe they have to give them more.
