8/14/26 — TRUMP IS TAKING THE WHITE HOUSE BALLROOM FIGHT STRAIGHT TO THE SUPREME COURT — and his administration says national security is on the line. The Trump administration is asking the justices to immediately allow above-ground construction to resume, arguing the project involves presidential security and shouldn’t be controlled through court injunctions. A federal appeals court ruled 2-1 that Congress never authorized the 90,000-square-foot ballroom, blocking above-ground work while allowing underground security construction to continue. The administration argues the privately funded project doesn’t require additional congressional approval and says leaving the site unfinished could create security, structural and weather-related problems. Now the Supreme Court could decide whether Trump can move forward — or whether Congress must give its approval. Who should have the final say: the president, Congress or the courts? #DonaldTrump #SupremeCourt #WhiteHouse #Ballroom #TruthOverSpin | The Dupree Report
