Omaha Man Arrested in Foiled White House UFC Attack Plot | LIVE COVERAGE First Alert 6 Jun 16, 2026 #OmahaNews #WhiteHouse #UFC An Omaha man is in federal custody after authorities disrupted a plot to attack the UFC cage-fighting event held on the White House South Lawn this past Sunday. Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez was arrested during a raid in Saline County, Nebraska and faces charges of conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States and conspiracy to commit murder. FBI Director Kash Patel says the bureau learned of the threat on June 10th — four days before the event — and moved quickly to shut it down. Five people total are now in custody across multiple states including Ohio, Missouri, California and Nebraska. Secret Service Director Sean Curran says agents "worked around the clock" to identify those responsible. Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen has issued a statement on the arrest.
