#Resignations #ELECTION Politician steps down. +++ Constable Lambert Boissiere Jr. announced his withdrawal from the Orleans Parish First City Court Constable race and retirement after decades in politics. Boissiere, who represents the entire New Orleans East Bank as Constable, called the decision "deeply personal." He wrote in a statement that it comes nearly a year after his wife Elaine's passing.
