About the Organized Opposition to Hydroxychloroquine Last spring, many of us knew, based on Prof. Didier Raoult's experimental results from his HCQ+AZM protocol as well as other evidence, that HCQ had the potential of "bending the curve" of the progress of the epidemic. What was surprising was the fierceness of opposition HCQ or for that matter any therapeutic treatment by the elites. On April 8th, 2020 I made a list of the political actions and talking points the media and the Democrats were using against the use of HCQ, which I reprint verbatim: 1) Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is banned by Democrat governors in a few states 2) An HCQ trial was halted by a Democrat governor 3) The talking point that Azithromycin (AZM) doesn't have anti-viral properties because it's an antibiotic. 4) The talking point that the HCQ+AZM (+Zn) data is purely anecdotal. 5) The talking point that Prof. Didier Raoult of France, the first to investigate HCQ+AZM, is a kook. 6) The talking point that those who think the total number of deaths in the USA from CV19 will be below 100k is anti-science. 7) The talking point that HCQ is an extremely dangerous drug. 8) The talking point that HCQ will be scarce for those who need it if we use it for CV19 9) The talking point that Trump killed people by informing us about the potential benefits of HCQ. 10) The talking point that AZM is extremely dangerous for those with heart conditions. 11) The talking point that Dr. Zelenko of New York is not qualified to talk about HCQ treatment As far as I can tell, no one in government, especially Dr. Fauci, has been brought to account, let alone apologize, for their irrational, politically motivated, and anti-scientific opposition to the medicine, despite the fact that high profile people within the White House, including Peter Navarro, were advocating on behalf of HCQ using the large amount of evidence that was even then publicly available. No one, too, in Big Tech or elsewhere has been brought to account for the campaign of deplatforming and cancelling people, including health professionals, who similarly advocated for its use. I would hope that maybe someday a member of the media would talk to Trump insiders and ask why Dr. Fauci was so adamant against it.
