Navy jets collide May 17 Idaho Two US Navy jets collided during an air show at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho, sending both aircraft crashing to the ground in front of spectators. All four crew members ejected safely before impact. The incident took place during the Gunfighter Skies Air Show at Mountain Home Air Force Base. 2 EA-18G Growler jets flying in close formation at low altitude. At one point, the aircraft collide and appear to become entangled before both stall and spiral toward the ground. The pilots eject just seconds after the collision, with four brightly colored parachutes visible in the sky. β€œAll four members of the aircrew successfully ejected and are being evaluated by medical personnel,” Naval Air Forces spokeswoman Commander Amelia Umayam said.
