@PadraigMartin Thanks very much for this. I don't have anywhere near your expertise but I've been saying the same thing for years . This unwillingness to lead , a complete disinterest in it just leaves a power vacuum and even if somehow the Liberty Variant of COVID 19 got rid of all the "bad guys" you'd end up with cartels, street gangs , rogue cops and every other undesirable in power and everything in ruins. Fundamentally you may not like ideology or governing or economic management or having things like the EPA but you are going to have all of them. No running home to Monticello 2.0 , no shirking duties . Rebuilding is hard work. Worse this isn't being done for you or me, like the proverbial acorn , its for our kids and grand-kids even if like me we are not so blessed. A great place to raise a child does not come cheap.
