Black Salve to treat early stage skin cancer sun spots actually works...! 14 months ago, in Nov 2023, I had a basal cell carcinoma skin cancer diagnosed after a scab I scratched off kept coming back and it wouldn't heal so I had it diagnosed by an expert and cut out. I had a bad reaction to the local anaesthetic with Thrombosis symptoms in my right leg for 10 days following surgery. I have had local anaesthetic before and this was the first time I had a bad reaction. A few months ago I noticed a very small, rough/scaly, white mole on my left shoulder blade which felt like a scab. I picked it off, but it returned, just like the other one had done. I opted this time to first try black salve (needs to be the one with bloodroot and zinc chloride in it). I cut the end off a cotton tip bud and used the sharp end to put a tiny drop of black salve right in the centre of the white mole then covered it with a waterproof bandaid. They say leave it on 24 to 48 hours. After 29 hours I removed it, took photos, applied Vaseline, then covered with a bandaid for 48 hours. After 48 hours, when I removed the bandaid, it didn't look or feel much different to what it had before I applied the black salve and at first I thought it either must not have worked, or perhaps it wasn't a skin cancer since black salve should only react if skin cancer cells are present. 5 days later (so 7 days after the black salve was applied) I felt the scab on my back and gently picked it off. (I probably should have just left it but was curious). It came away easily to reveal what looks like healthy pink skin below where it was. Seems the black salve does do what it is supposed to do and is a safe and effective way to remove very small skin cancer spots when used correctly in very small amounts. There is a lot of bad publicity online over black salve being used incorrectly and causing deformities, but if you do your research and use it correctly, it sure beats gambling with the side effects of the local anaesthetic. Unfortunately, here in Australia, Black Salve is banned for humans use, but you can still buy it "for animals" and, like me, do with it what you choose.
