Flashback: My final video on CD Projekt Red, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, and "Dissident Right" Gamers. [Thread]🧵 Polish video game developers CD Projekt Red had a glowing reputation among PC gamers for their Witcher RPGs and their digital video game store front Good Old Games (GOG). Notably, in 2025, CDPR sold GOG to Michał Kiciński, a co-founder of both companies. CDPR became such a massive icon of "Polish culture" that Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk gave President Obama a copy of The Witcher 2 in 2011. With the culture war that started off with #GamerGate, a lot of "based" or (((alt-right))) gamers wanted to uphold both The Witcher and CDPR as "based and Nationalist". The many shills of the right also tried to promote Poland as a "based, trad, far-right Christian" nation around this time, which bled into the worship of CDPR. Everyone from NIGR and glow-op TRS to the jewish pedophile e-whore Aydin Paladin shilled Poland, CDPR and Witcher. After the success of Witcher 3, even normies and center-right "anti-woke" shills have tried to grift off of CDPR. While the Witcher games were well made RPGs, them and the novels they are based on have the usual kosher propaganda. One of the most important parts of the Witcher lore is that non-humans, such as elves, were persecuted in "pogroms", inspired by the real-life pogroms in Eastern Europe that targeted jews. Colonialism is a big theme in The Witcher, with the original inhabitants of some lands being lizard people, who were then replaced by the elves, who were then replaced by humans. This ties into modern political narratives of White people taking lands from non-Whites. The games and books push the usual liberal messages of tolerance, diversity, and inclusion. The main character, Geralt, defends non-humans and mages from those that would kick them out or oppress them. Geralt also stands up for women's rights, going so far in The Witcher 3 to say women can be fighters, knights, own businesses etc. The games and books have their own mix of "strong women". While some of this is balanced with them being witches or power hungry manipulators, there are still plenty of women that are loved by modern feminists in the series. Triss is a borderline nymphomaniac that sleeps around, but is super thirsty for Geralt, even taking advantage of Geralt when he lost his memory to take him away from Yennefer. Women in general in the series are pretty open about sex, especially the women Geralt meets. While not as extreme as modern media, there are some female soldiers, such as Ves who the player can have sex with. In general, the Witcher franchise is pro-casual sex, both with characters having sex with each other or Geralt, as well as featuring whore houses. Geralt and Yennefer are basically in an open relationship, as while they have feelings for each other and the two magically have their fates tied, they both still have sex with others. Even in the first Witcher game, the player is rewarded with sex cards of the women Geralt has sex with. The franchise features its share of secret societies. For example, the witches have a (((Lodge))) of Sorceresses where they have conspired to secretly control the world from the shadows. This order can be compared to female-only occult orders like The Eastern Star or the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. One of the founders of this secret orders is Philippa Eilhart, who can transform into an owl. The owl symbolism has been used by many secret orders, an is a symbol for Moloch, Kilili and Minerva. Kabbalah also plays a role in the Witcher series. The magical system and alchemy of the series is rooted in jewish mysticism, from magical hand signs to references to the Kaballahistic Tree of Life. Part of the mysticism in the series is Chaos Magic, the idea that one can tap into the hidden powers of the world and push your "Will" on to reality. The symbol for the Nilfgaardian Empire can also be seen as a Chaos symbol and some other occult symbols. Blood magic and magical bloodlines are also part of the series. Geralt's adopted daughter Ciri has Elder Blood in her, meaning she is the descendant of Lara Dorren. Lara was an ancient magical elf who fell in love with a powerful human mage. This bloodline is a key plot point throughout the series, and echoes the power of blood and genetics. The Hearts of Stone DLC for the Witcher 3 features a demonic character called Gaunter O'Dimm. He plays the role of the usual trickster god or devil that grants wishes at a hidden cost. His initials spell "GOD". https://odysee.com/@StagedChessboard:a/CD-Projekt-Red%E2%80%93Witcher-Cyberpunk-2077-Dissident-Right-Gamers-Staged-Chessboard:1
