Halloween isn't "innocent fun." For the occult, it's a high holy day. As believers, we need discernment — not fear, but wisdom. Here’s how to respond. ## 🎃 WHAT CHRISTIANS SHOULD AVOID THIS HALLOWEEN 1. Ouija Boards & Séances Even "just for fun." Jessica testifies that these are open doors to familiar spirits. Don't mock what Jesus died to free you from. 2. Glorifying Evil Costumes celebrating demons, witches, slashers, or gore normalize what Scripture calls abomination. You are a child of the Light — don't dress like the enemy. 3. Tarot/Psychic Readings "Just a party game." No. Divination is sorcery. It invites seducing spirits. Jessica built her business on this — she knows exactly what comes through. 4. Participating in Darkness Without Purpose If you trick-or-treat, do it redemptively. Don't just absorb the dark vibes. Be intentional. 5. Operating in Fear Jessica now says: "Witchcraft is built on fear. Jesus offers rest and love." Don't be terrified of Halloween — but don't be careless either. ## ✝️ WHAT CHRISTIANS SHOULD DO INSTEAD 1. Be the Light Host a trunk-or-treat. Light up your yard. Hand out full-sized candy with a Gospel tract attached. Let your house be the brightest on the block. 2. Pray Over Your Home and Neighbourhood Walk your street and pray. Declare Ephesians 5:8 — "You were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord." Drive out darkness with prayer. 3. Give Out Gospel Tracts Tracts are "spiritual candy." Kids get sugar; parents get the Bread of Life. It's a harvest field — the world is already thinking about the supernatural. 4. Remember Reformation Day October 31 is also the day Martin Luther nailed the 95 Theses. Celebrate the Gospel being recovered! Light overcame darkness in the Church. 5. Be Bold Like Jessica She lost thousands of followers and a fortune to follow Jesus. You can endure a few weird looks from neighbours for handing out tracts. Witness boldly. ## 🔍 PRACTICAL DISCERNMENT GUIDANCE 1. Test the Spirits 1 John 4:1 — "Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God." If it doesn't confess Jesus as Lord in the flesh, reject it. 2. Don't Be Ignorant 2 Corinthians 2:11 — "So that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes." Know what the enemy does. Jessica's testimony exposes his playbook. 3. Guard Your Eyes and Ears Horror movies, ghost-hunting shows, and occult content open doors to fear and oppression. Jessica warns that what you watch invites spiritual residue. 4. Cleanse Your Home If you have crystals, dreamcatchers, tarot cards, or occult books — burn them (Acts 19:19). Don't sell them. Don't keep them. Destroy them. 5. Rely on the Holy Spirit You don't battle darkness with your own strength. Pray in the Spirit. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6). The battle belongs to the Lord. ## ⚠️ FINAL WARNING & ENCOURAGEMENT THE WARNING: Don't play with fire. Dabbling in the occult is not innocent. Jessica's fifteen years of bondage prove that every spell has a hidden cost. What starts as a "party game" can become a spiritual prison. THE ENCOURAGEMENT: 1 John 4:4 — "Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." The blood of Jesus is the ULTIMATE protection. Jessica walked away from a high-level witchcraft career because she encountered the real Light. No demon can stand against the name of Jesus. If Jesus can rescue one of the "biggest witches on the internet," He can protect you from any dark spirit trying to creep into your house this Halloween.
