It was a twisty drive on narrow roads to Ravello, Italy, on the Amalfi Coast, but we arrived early at the gardens at Villa Cimbrone, an hour before the buses of tourists did. The view of the clear Mediterranean Sea from Infinity Terrace is mesmerizing, maybe with a touch of vertigo if you look straight down. We spent the morning, into the afternoon, wandering the paths of this exquisite place. I call this painting, Garden of Serenity.
