Let me explain how majority of corporations keep potential away from the little guy, AND I am far from the little guy. I have over $1M in a schwab. I signed up for shares in the IPO for SpaceX. I did the form they requested on the first couple of days when it became available. I called first and the person I talked to suggested that Schwab would decide who got shares, later, the call today told me I am not eligible, but gave no reason why. Then put me on indefinite hold! I am quite certain arrangements have been made to be sure all shares go to investment houses who will put the shares on the market once the growth in value has stabilized. Perhaps taking the shares from $158 to $1580. Then drain my potential to buy in unless I provide the margin that was prearranged between them and Schwab! Elon Musk should have say in this! Hold off your IPO until it is opened to the little guys!
