🙏 Pray for the Maithili 🇮🇳 The Maithili are 12 million people living across northeastern India and neighboring Nepal. They are known for their close-knit families, rich cultural heritage, and centuries-old tradition of learning. Yet less than 1% know Jesus Christ. Simpson 🙏 Please pray: 🏠 Families: Pray that entire extended families would be drawn to Christ together, and that respected family leaders would become faithful followers of Jesus who lovingly guide future generations. 📖 Hearts Seeking Truth: Pray that Mithila's long tradition as a center of learning would lead many to discover God's truth through His Word, raising up future pastors, Bible teachers, and Bible scholars. 🌱 Open Hearts: Ask God to soften hearts, remove spiritual blindness, and overcome cultural and religious barriers so that many Maithili will joyfully receive the good news of Jesus Christ. 💔 Every year, 120,000 Maithili die without Christ.
