BREAKING: Judge Dismisses Oath Keepers Cases U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta has granted the DOJ’s motion to dismiss the January 6 cases against Oath Keepers members, including founder Stewart Rhodes, with prejudice. The DOJ sought the dismissals after their convictions were vacated. Mehta granted the request reluctantly, writing that the court “cannot write a different ending.” He noted the move diminishes the gravity of January 6 and excuses the criminal acts, but separation of powers left him no choice.
