Sub-human scum. Christina Aguayo News · #new The Haitian migrant who allegedly k*lled a woman with a hammer, was already suspected of m*rdering another woman, but ICE couldn't detain him because Biden gave him Temporary Protected Status (TPS) #haitian Rolbert Joachin, the 40-year-old migrant from Haiti who came into the country illegally in 2022, received a final deportation order. But instead of being deported, he was protected by the Biden Administration when they granted him TPS. On March 26 Fort Myers police brought Joachin in for questioning about the strangulation m*rder of Julia Curvo. He was the prime suspect. #fortmyers FMPD took his phone then asked ICE to take him into federal custody (because he already had a final deportation order from 2022). #florida However, because of the TPS granted to him via the Joe Biden administration, ICE was forced to release him. TPS at that time acted as a legal protection that prevented ICE from detaining or removing him, even though local police had flagged him as a m*rder suspect. Joachin was identified early in the investigation into the January k*lling of 28-year-old Curvo. Court documents detail how Curvo disappeared after being reported missing by her grandmother on January 21. An officer had talked to Joachin that same day about him sleeping near trees on Hough Street. Four days later, a resident reported a foul smell on Hough Street, officers found nothing at first. On January 29, they went back and discovered Curvo’s body under brush, wrapped in bedding and partially clothed. A black bandana was wrapped around her neck, clothing was tied around her waist, and she had bruises on her legs and waist. The autopsy confirmed that she was strangled to de*th. One week later, Joachin was arrested and accused of m*rdering 51-year-old Nilufa Easmin who was working at a Chevron gas station in Fort Myers. Surveillance video showed him breaking her car window before repeatedly hitting her in the head with a hammer. He confessed saying he targeted her. On June 5, prosecutors filed a motion seeking the de*th penalty in that case. Joachin has pleaded not guilty in Easmin’s de*th. State Attorney Amira Fox has formally charged Joachin with second-degree m*rder in Curvo’s death. The charges rest on DNA evidence linking him to the scene and the detailed Crime Stoppers tip that included his confession and reenactment. Curvo’s phone and Joachin’s phone were recovered together from a pond off Palm Beach Boulevard on April 8.
