Remembering a father who was murdered by the FBI...   "10 years ago today, the Obama’s FBI, Hostage Rescue Team and OSP killed my husband LaVoy Finicum. Murdered him. Shot him 3 times in the back while he exercised the universal sign of surrender, hands high in the air.  Needless to say, that over these 10 years, our family has been through a lot. Our Country has been through a lot. So much so that it is hard keeping up with the pace of chaos, confusion and destruction taking place. If we’re not careful and mindful, this chaos will destroy our freedom, peace, and happiness, individually and collectively.   What was most important to LaVoy was his relationship with his Heavenly Father, his family and this Country.  In that order. LaVoy believed in God, he loved and honored God. He followed God’s laws. He was faithful. He taught our children about God and treated his fellow man with the love of God.  Forever an amazing example. LaVoy was an amazing husband and father. He considered being a father, his most important role. He loved each of his 12 children and spent all his time with us.  We were his priority in life. At the time of his death, we had 19 grandchildren. He continues to live on through his posterity as it grows to 47 grandchildren and counting. He lives on in us. Families are forever. LaVoy was a man of principal, and integrity. He saw his Oregon neighbor suffering, the Hammonds, and went to help them.  He lost his life there in Oregon standing for what he believed was an injustice.  A brave man.  A true patriot. Today, I want to tune out all the negative, destructive rhetoric we’re constantly bombarded with.  I want to focus on the positive, optimistic, hopeful, uniting aspects of our community. LaVoy was a loving, motivating, positive, selfless man. He saw the best in people. He believed in standing to preserve our Constitution. He hoped and prayed for our Country. And he believed that God was in charge. I want to close, thanking all of you! Thank you for being here for us, these long 10 years! Thank you for supporting the legal battle in all the different ways you did!!! Thank you for loving me and my family through the most horrific time of our lives.  Thank you for your personal commitment to this Country’s success!  “Take Courage, Stand, God is in Charge!”  LF With much love and respect, Jeanette onecowboystandforfreedom.com"
