🪨 Mind-blowing new Stonehenge discovery! A groundbreaking study just published in the Journal of Quaternary Science reveals that the massive 6-tonne Altar Stone — long thought to be central to rituals and worship at the site — was hauled all the way from northeast Scotland (the Orcadian Basin near Caithness), up to 750 km (466 miles) away!
