Small businesses can barely survive in California because the system is broken. We face some of the nations highest electricity rates, gas prices, taxes, rents, and overall living costs. Californians are getting squeezed at every turn, and too many families and businesses are being forced to leave. Florida and Tennessee have no state individual income tax. Gas in Texas is $3.50 a gallon. Why are we suffering here on every level? Californians deserve a break. No taxes under $150k a year would be VERY helpful.
