There is a good chance you are more Norse than you think. 🛡️ For centuries, huge parts of Scotland were not Scottish at all. They were Viking. The Northern Isles. The Hebrides. Caithness. Sutherland. Norse settlers farmed them, ruled them, and left their blood and their language behind. Shetland and Orkney were Norse for around 500 years. The place names, the surnames, and the DNA are still there today. If your roots trace back to Scotland or its islands, you may be carrying Viking blood.
