#Twitter and #Facebook both have a whole rodeo of #censorsed and fact-checked content and #banned users this week. What has been extrapolated from the #Fauci emails are of particular note in this, along with #Nigeria and #Uganda making moves to rid themselves of #Twitter. Wish the #US would do the same with #TikTok personally. My concern is mainly doing business with the #Chinese in the #tech sector from the perspective of a nation state who is prone to industrial and economic sabotage. On top of that, the vast majority of people (we can call them the normies) don't have a technical background AT ALL and think TikTok is just for sharing looping videos. They have no idea that their personal and biographical information of them and their friends are being stored in #China where the data can be sifted through. Granted the US with the #NSA is notorious for state spying as well, but it's really dumb to let a rival economy who stands to gain everything by sabotaging you right on in. Uganda and Nigeria seem to understand this, along with many who supposedly live in the developing world. Some people understand this here, but not nearly enough. They may not until they get bit in the bum by it severely.
