They are mentioned in the canon of the Mass (Eucharistic Prayer I), and in the East, they are the most famous of the saints characterized as anargyroi, "moneyless ones" or "unmercenaries." Said to have come originally from Arabia, they trained in Syria and settled in Cilicia (in modern-day Turkey) to practice medicine 👨‍⚕️ ⚕️. They took no payment for their services and they openly shared the truth of the Gospel.
