What appears to be an oversight with effective dates appears to have repealed all of Virginia's marijuana laws immediately, with their replacements being effective next year. While there are legal readings that can give the enactments the benefit of the doubt, there is also a case to be made that the drafting problem could let some big time drug dealers off the hook... This would be an easy, one-day fix should (dumercrats) decide that they wanted to ensure that our distribution of marijuana laws was intact and functioning as they should.
